Over the years, have you found that you've gotten busier and busier with seemingly unimportant tasks? Has your everyday routine overshadowed your passions and interests?
Working too much is easy to do, and happens to a lot of us!
Because we need to make a living, we can easily sideline other interests in order to put all our energy into our work. Often, we also have partners and families that demand (and deserve!) our attention. Before we know it, we're running hard just to keep up.
But after years of doubling your efforts to keep work and family in balance, you may realize you miss some long-lost parts of yourself. It might be listening to the music you love. It could be playing an instrument. Or maybe you loved art or the written word.
These passions are far from lost. You can recapture those feelings! Rediscover music and art to rekindle your internal passion and bring richness to your life again.
Consider these ideas to bring back some of those lost loves:
Do you love what you do for a living?
Do you look forward to going to work every day or do you grudgingly show up in order to pay the bills? Do you work past quitting time because it's expected or because you're "into it" and lost track of time?
Many people know their calling in life, their true purpose, and live "on purpose."
Are you one of them?
Take this True or False Self-Quiz to determine whether you are operating from a place of purpose.
Most people think they would be happy if they had more "stuff" or more money. A better car or a better house sounds pretty good to most people. But more money and "things" don't necessarily make you happier.
Having a car might make it easier to be happy if it means you don't have to walk everywhere. Having more money can make it easier to be happy if you currently can't pay all your bills. So these things can remove some of the obstacles to being happy, but they don't really provide happiness.
There are four things that do bring happiness, and the best part is that they're free!
Family support comes in many ways.
My support system consists of my spouse, children, and and grandchildren. The special people in my life give me support through kindness and consideration.
Each Sunday I pause to give thanks for my family. Having them to share a special moment with is important to me. It grounds me and sets the foundation for a wonderful week.

Overcoming the fear of the unknown is a challenging endeavor, but it can be done. If you suffer from a fear of uncertainty, understanding what fear is, and how it affects you, can start you on the road to conquering it.
Fear has been defined in several ways; however, the most basic definition of fear is an emotional response based on the fact that we're faced with something unfamiliar or impending danger.
When we experience fear, several psychological and physiological responses take place all at the same time.
Actions speak louder than words. Talking and planning aren't enough to make progress with most tasks. Some of us specialize in daydreaming and planning. We might have the best ideas, but ideas without action are a waste of time and mental energy. It's important to spend the majority of your time actually doing something. Action is the key.
Those with control over their lives and their time are able to take action on a consistent basis.
Tile cleaner, counter cleaner, wood cleaner, sink cleaner, and more... most of us have at least one cabinet filled with cleaning supplies that we paid good money for. Not only are these chemicals pricey, but also they're highly toxic to us and the environment!

Food is fuel… well, it ought to be but it rarely is. Every one of us has an emotional attachment or a memory we associate with food of some kind, and it’s little wonder why. Food is an adventure of all five senses. Yes, we even hear food, like the satisfying crunch of your potato chip or the sizzle as food cooks.
When we consider the memories of eating, the power of such full engagement of your senses, and the surprising biochemical effect certain foods have on the brain, it is no wonder that we all turn to food to comfort us in difficult times. It is normal and natural to seek solace in the company of others and food, in both times of celebration and times of great loss. Cravings can be a way that your body is telling you something. Honor your cravings by getting to the root cause of it, and find out what your body really needs.
It's not very uncommon for some people to experience low back pain when doing sit-ups. Sometimes strains occur when a person is not doing the exercise properly or when they overexert the back while performing sit-ups. Doing too many too quickly can cause painful tension in the back.
Since the exercise mainly uses hip flexor muscles, these muscles become overworked. Overworked muscles cause an anterior pull on the lumbar vertebrae and this results to discomfort in that area. Another reason why some individuals feel sore when performing sit-ups is because of the pressure on the posterior part of the spine. This occurs when you push the spine into the ground while being flexed. When you do this type of exercise, you only use a few muscles in the mid-section so naturally, your body may not be used to concentrated tension in that area.
